What is the 2012 East Coast Startup Summit?

A conference bringing students from dozens of universities across the country around the wave of entrepreneurial expansion that is hitting the east coast.

When and where is it being held?

This year the conference is being held at Princeton University, and runs from Friday, April 20th to Sunday, April 22nd. Students will arrive at Princeton University on Thursday evening to Friday morning and will be provided with food and housing for the weekend.

Am I eligible? What does the application process involve?

Are you a current student, recent graduate, or recent "stop out" (within the past year) of a U.S. college or university? Are you an aspiring entrepreneur or social entrepreneur or are just crazy about startups? If so, then you are eligible to apply.

Friday Schedule

12:00pm - 12:30pm - Welcome and Reception
12:30pm - 1:30pm - Opening keynote over lunch
1:45pm - 5:30pm - Talks and private workshops
5:30pm - 7:30pm - Break for dinner
7:30pm - 12:00am - Conference-wide mixer and social events

Saturday Schedule

10:00pm - 11:00pm - Team-building/networking activities
11:00am - 1:30pm - Saturday keynote, talks and panels, all over an extended lunch
1:30pm - 5:30pm - Mini hackathon/customer development workshop

Conference Location

The conference will be held on the campus of Princeton University, 75 minutes from NYC by Train. Students, once accepted to attend the conference, may apply to be reimbursed for travel expenses.
